One or two trained Facilitators help to run our 121digital courses in some training centres ... (the engagement of a Facilitator is optional to ease workload for the TYCO)
Facilitators need zero IT skills !! ... its about delegation & supervision
Facilitators are adult volunteers who offer to run 121digital, in their local training centre. Facilitators can be parents of a student in the school and in colleges they can be a mature student or a member of staff. Training is provided. No digital skill is required of Facilitators. The Tutors are the experts. Tutors collectively have the answers to questions that arise.
121digital Tutors work as a team. They share their digital skills with adults in the local community.
Facilitators are trained and supported by 121digital. Each Facilitator is asked to commit approx two and a half hours per week, to 121digital, during courses run in schools/colleges during academic terms/semesters.
Facilitators have a key role - without them 121digital courses could not be sustained. They enjoy the satisfaction of making the 121digital initiative happen in their school/college and sustaining it over the months/years. 121digital is a most enjoyable and practical engagement for dozens of Tutors, Learners and Facilitators, in schools /colleges in their local community. Facilitators can manage courses by leveraging the support and structure of the 121digital program. Facilitators, also, add their 121digital experience to their CV.
